OUR STORY
From Himalayan roots.
With scientific curiosity.
Nature’s Urja brings traditional food knowledge and modern product development together, from its home in Rohru, Himachal Pradesh.
OUR ORIGIN · 2020
A pause that
became a beginning.
During the COVID-19 lockdown, Dr. Divya Vishambra began exploring how her biotechnology education could connect with the ingredients and knowledge of her Himalayan home.
That curiosity became Nature’s Urja: an enterprise focused on regional ingredients, new infusions and opportunities for women to participate in its journey.

MEET THE FOUNDER
Dr. Divya
Vishambra
Ph.D. Biotechnology
Founder, Nature’s Urja Pvt. Ltd.
Her work brings together two ways of understanding ingredients: the food traditions of the Himalayas and the questioning, exploratory approach of a scientist.
Through Nature’s Urja, she is developing a collection centred on morel, indigenous red rice and horse gram, while building connections between product development and women’s participation in enterprise.
Nature’s Urja and Dr. Divya Vishambra are listed in the active-startup directory of the Agri Business Incubation Centre at SKUAST-Jammu.

Respect what is known.
Explore what is possible.
Traditional use is a starting point for learning. Scientific training brings another perspective to formulation, product information and the questions we ask about food.
Our infusions are food and wellness beverages. They are not medicines or substitutes for medical care.
THE INGREDIENTS THAT INSPIRE US
Gucchi / morel
A distinctive mushroom at the centre of our signature infusion, with earthy and nutty notes.
Chohartu red rice
A connection to the indigenous grains and food heritage of Himachal Pradesh.
Kulath / horse gram
A familiar traditional food ingredient explored in a different daily ritual.
OUR VISION
Rooted locally.
Open to the world.
To bring Himalayan ingredient stories to a wider audience through thoughtful products, clear information and meaningful partnerships.
Women’s participation, regional knowledge and responsible enterprise remain central to that ambition.
